House Fund (ISF), a Harvard Business School initiative to
establish a school in Rajugella village, Mathura UP India.

will also leverage his local village experience to work
through the on-ground specificities of the school project.
ISF
is a nonprofit organization founded by Harvard Business
School students to provide high quality education to poor
people in rural India. The ISF’s vision is to improve
education in rural India by implementing an education infrastructure
successfully in one village and replicating the model to
other regions over time.
ISF is
building a school on the main road near Rajugella
Village (UP State between Mathura and Agra) to provide education
from Grade 1 to 12 for 1200 people of 15-20 villages living
with less than $1/day. The ISF will partner with Rishi valley
Education Center (RVEC), an Indian NGO awarded the first
prize for the “The Most Innovative Development Project
2004” at the Sixth Annual Global Development Conference
held at Dakar last January to develop the education content
and to provide training to the teachers.
